"Panera Style Broccoli Cheese Soup "
I am no chef but I love to eat so that is why I cook so much. I fell in love with Panera Bread broccoli cheese soup, but it can get pricey. So good, but expensive for the bowl or bread bowl. So I searched on line and found inspiration on how to get the taste of Panera bread soup. Well I found it, put a Twist on it and and honestly I think I beat Panera. Check out my ingredients below. Give it a try. What's better than a hot bowl of soup in the winter?

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon butter melted
- chopped diced onion
- 1 ⁄4 cup flour
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1/4 cup of broth
- 2 cups chicken stock
- broccoli chopped into bite size pieces
- 1 cup carrot ,sliced thin
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- salt and pepper, Lawry's seasoning.
I cooked my soup in the crock pot.
I sauteed the onions and butter 1St. Added the flour and half and half. I let it slow simmer before adding the carrots and broccoli. Then once my veggies started to get soft I added my cheese. (Careful, don't add to much cheese to the point it takes away the broccoli taste)
Lastly I added salt, pepper, Lawry's and also garlic powder but not much. Lastly my nutmeg.
As long as you have the key ingredients it will come out tasty. Remember this is soup. Slow cook it, on low. Don't rush soup, you may end up with a disaster.
